Seems summer has hit us full force.  If you're up to doing some Yoga outside, come join us in Burnaby near BCIT on Wayburne Avenue on Tuesday evenings starting July 7 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.  Email me for more details.  In inclement weather the classes will be moved inside.

As always, we don't offer as many classes during the summer, but we still have a few of our staples going strong.  Be sure to visit our website www.intoyoga.ca and check out what's being offered for July and August.

Side Inclined Plane

-strengthens, firms and tones legs, hips, buttocks, abdominals, back, shoulders, arms and wrists
-firms bustline
-limbers spine and shoulders
-tones nervous system
-improves co-ordination, balance and concentration

1. Kneeling upright on both knees, lean to the right and place your right hand on the floor roughly in line with the knee and shoulder.  Extend the top left leg out straight, keeping it in line with your right knee and hand.  Extend the left arm upwards, and look up if comfortable for the neck.

2. Hold posture and breathe.

3. Release.

4. Repeat on the opposite side.
