As you may know we had some technical issues with our website last week, so my apologies to those of you who were trying to view it.  We've got it up again at www.intoyoga.ca.

A couple of weeks ago, I sat in a room in Vancouver with about 600 colleagues who have chosen to partner with the same health and wellness company as I did 8 years ago.  We are strong affiliates and conscientiously fundraise for Make a Wish Foundation.  That weekend, in less than a 15 minute time period, we raised over $11,300 for this cause.  It warms my heart to be among so many people that truly care.

If you're hard at work at your desk, you need to take some time to stretch.  We've got 5 simple stretches you can do right at you desk.

Five Exercises You Can Do At Your Desk

If you work at a desk, at home or in an office, these are some great exercises you can do to take away the tension and get some good benefits.  My one word of caution is....don't do them with a wheeled chair, or make sure you lock the wheels somehow.

 5 Minute Stress Relief Strategies

Stress comes from many areas of life, and stress relief comes in many forms. While some people like using one favorite tool for stress relief, many experts feel that the most efficient approach to stress relief is one that attacks stress from several different directions, utilizing an overall 'plan of attack' for stress relief.

Postpartum Fitness

Having a baby means a lot of things: losing sleep, learning how to hold a tiny person correctly and dealing with the weight you gained during your pregnancy. As you try to get your new routine down, exercise may seem like that last thing you feel like doing. But, being active now is more important than ever because it helps raise metabolism, shed extra weight, provides much-needed energy and helps reduce stress and tension.

Studies show that most women gain an average of about 30 pounds during pregnancy, although many of us end up gaining a lot more than that. On average, 18 to 20 pounds are usually lost within a month of having a baby, but it's those extra pounds that can be tough to get rid of. Your body may be different after having a baby. Delicious Ways to Serve Walnuts

Most nuts are good for you, but walnuts are one of the most nutritious nuts around. Walnuts are an excellent source of plant-based protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals and essential omega-3 fatty acids. They're a good part of a heart-healthy diet and may even be good for your brain. Walnuts are even good if you're on a diet -- even though they're relatively high in calories, they'll help you stay full -- just watch those portion sizes.
